How We Execute: Labor Partners, Manufacturers, and One Standard

Nexen Construction is a project management company at its core. Our exterior projects get delivered by a system, not by hope.

The partnership model

We execute through long-standing partnerships with large, proven labor partners — crews that have installed fiber cement, EIFS, metal composite panels, and stone veneer with us across Pennsylvania and surrounding states, project after project. And we work directly with the manufacturers whose systems we install: we're a preferred Nichiha installer, and we maintain direct relationships with Longboard, ALPOLIC, James Hardie and TABS Wall Systems.

Why does that matter to an owner? Because when the panel manufacturer, the installing crew, and the project manager already know each other's standards, problems get solved on the wall instead of in letters.

Sequence is everything

Exterior packages fail on sequence more than on skill. Before mobilization, every Nexen project gets mapped: substrate verification, WRB inspection points, panel delivery staged against installation rate, scaffold and lift logistics, and the trade handoffs on both sides of our scope. If we do A before B and it saves two weeks, that's in the plan before the first crew-day.

One standard, documented daily

Every job site is photo-documented daily — over 53,000 photographs across our project history. Flashing laps, clip alignment, sealant joints, terminations: verified and recorded before they're covered. That record protects the owner, the GC, and the warranty.
